Young Money’s youngest star Torion is currently gearing up to drop his latest video. This video was shot on site on some old train tracks and an isolated beach. Young Money’s Torion performed at the UniverSoul Circus in Atlanta on February 15. Here is some video from the event and you can watch Torion perform, dance all over the stage, take some pictures with fans and also had time to take in the spectacle of the circus itself. He’s also repping Trukfit and is decked out in all of his boss’s latest wardrobe additions to his clothing line. Watch after the jump.

Tyga Attends Debut Of T-Raww Sneaker Line

Tyga attended the launch of his “T-Raww” sneaker collaboration with Reebok on Sunday, February 24th in Los Angeles at Shiekh Shoes. As you can see, Tyga himself is rocking a green pair of his new sneakers as well as his own “Last Kings” apparel line, including the skateboard.

It was packed out as you will see in the pictures and three hundred special fans were treated to a meet and greet with the Young Money rapper. There was also a Q & A session with Power 106′s DJ Felli Fel. Rick Ross & Swizz Beatzalso have a sneaker collaboration in the works with Reebok. Check out the pics after the jump.

Lil Twist – Contact (Prod By The Audibles)

Lil Twist releases his latest single called “Contact”. Back in October Twist released his song “Flowers” featuring Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. I don’t believe this song will be off of any album, rather just something to get a feel for his demographic. Good song with production coming from The Audibles.

Slim Dunkin’s Killer Gets 25 Years In Prison

In December 2011, Brick Squad Monopoly rapper Slim Dunkin, was gunned down inside of a recording studio in Atlanta. There was a lot of discrepancy in what actually happened that led to the shooting. Witnesses stated the argument was “over a piece of candy”. After fighting over the piece of candy, rapper Young Vito (real name Vincent Hardimon) grabbed his pistol and shot the BSM rapper. Divine Carama releases a very special Nas dedicated free LP called “It Was Rewritten”. Artists such as Thee Tom Hardy, Vito Banga of Nappy Roots, 88 Key’s signed Nemo Achida, legendary battle MC Canibus, & underground hip hop group CunningLynguists all helped out on the project. The project was also produced by 2 Mello.

The first video off of the project, directed by 2 Mello, is for his song “Suspect”. In the song he talks about how the school system is unjust, how many historical aspects are overlooked and how corrupt and back-thinking our country truly is. Very honest video.

According to Carama:

We really wanted to go for an early-mid 90′s feels on this one. The mixtape was inspired by a mid 90′s LP so we felt it was only right to have that essence.. Also, so much of just one type of theme is going on right now in hip hop.. Everything is big, expensive, negative, degrading, numb…… We just wanted to throw something out there that the opposite to a lot that’s going on right now. Do our part in balancing things out.

American Idol Season 12 has been a rejuvenation for the long time running singing program. After a couple of sub-par, disappointing seasons and a couple of weird moments with Steven Tyler, Keith Urban has taken his new role in stride, replacing the Aerosmith lead singer.

Keith Turban, as he jokingly called himself after one of their contestants, The Turbanator, has also had some kind words to say about Nicki. Although they never met before the show, he explained he was pleasantly surprised with her attitude and judging technique.

World renowned DJ and Paris Hilton lover Afrojack links up with Chris ”Yea, I’m that dude who punched Rihanna in the face” Brown, for this ridiculous house/tech/hip-hop track.

Personally I could use more Afrojack effects and less Chris Brown, but then again, this will certainly help to bridge the gap between the EDM and rap scenes, so that’s a plus.

Rising producer DJ Swivel won his first Grammy award last week for Beyonce’s“Love on Top”. This is the singer’s 17th Grammy and DJ Swivel is looking to catch up.

This Toronto native has a ton of talent and is most certainly going to be racking up a couple more trophies before his career his over. Thus far he has worked with artists like Rihanna, Fabolous, Jay-Z & Britney Spears. Follow him @DJSwivel.

She said, while visiting him in Miami, that he mostly “played guitar and smoked weed…then went to the studio.” The other time she met him, he apparently was asleep. NBA All Star Weekend Preview

The NBA All Star Weekend has finally arrived. Tonight at 7 PM, celebrities such as Ne-Yo, Kevin Hart, Trey Songz and Usian Bolt will partake in 9th Annual Celebrity All Star Game. More events are scheduled throughout the weekend.

The NBA has always had a close relationship with the celebrity world. Now, with the NBA All Star Game approaching this weekend, Houston is beginning to liven up. Last night, Houston natives Bun B and Kirko Bangz threw a party at The Bamboo lounge along with celebrities and NBA legends such as Gary Payton. To honor the official kick off of the All Star Weekend, which will last from February 15-17, celebrities will have their chance to show off their b-ballin skills first.

Recently, Young Money has been on a tear signing new artists. They have signed artists like Torion, PJ Morton, Chris Richardson, The Aziatix and a group called We The Future.

While on the red carpet for Young Money’s annual Pre-Grammy party, Mack Mainespoke to Rap-Up about the “young money young’n's” and trying to get their careers kicked into full throttle.

He also mentioned that Reginae Carter, the daughter of Lil Wayne & Toya Carter, is in fact signed to her father’s record label. She was formerly an original member of The OMG Girlz and you might remember her from The Carter Documentary, where she spit a freestyle. The video was directed by David Fincher and is the first video off of JT’s “The 20/20 Experience”, dropping March 19.
